In this article, I'll share some exercises suitable for newer divers looking to improve their freedive and water fitness, adapted from workouts I've used myself for many years to stay in shape during bad weather windows, work breaks, or to build a really strong base early in the competition season.

We spent two and a half years living aboard a 55ft Grand Banks (Adventure) Trawler; raising the kids, running the business, surfing, spearfishing, fishing, cruising, and living the life of a sea creature. It was a wild ride! Living simply and intentionally was the goal. This was our normal early morning surf session routine... if the waves were hitting this spot just right (which it really wasn't this morning, but we went anyway).

These are the biggest waves in Hawaii. Steep drops, sharp coral, and plenty of localism - these breaks have it all.

When we say we put love, time and attention into this design, we mean it! It was akin to growing a human from infant to toddler to teenager. We love these pants. We are proud of what these pants have become. We can't wait to see what they will do next!
